On-site & Custom Workshops

We deliver hands-on training programs in basic and advanced book repair, as well as workshops in bookbinding and conservation treatments. Our workshops provide an active hands-on experience in which students will learn the latest techniques for rapidly repairing books. These classes are for staff members responsible for returning books to a usable condition, and not intended for rare and special collection books. Classes are taught using student kits which contain the necessary tools for conservation book repair. Students are encouraged to bring damaged books to discuss or to repair in class. We also teach workshops customized for particular needs.
